The Museum of Roccamena houses relics from the archaeological site of Monte Maranfusa. Archaeological research has shown a phase of occupation of the site since at least the IX-VIII century. a.C., even if the period of maximum expansion dates back to the Archaic period (VII-VI sec. a.C.). Numerous pottery, both traditional indigenous and imported Greek or Colonial. The processing of cereals are related to stone tools, while the activity of weaving is well attested by the discovery of numerous loom weights.
